Two
weekends in a row with outstanding weather – not hot and humid but not cold –
perfect for us. Saturday we did our usual 25km bike ride at Rondeau Provincial
Park and Sunday we took it easy and we
had a BBQ at Wheatley
Provincial Park
and played Ladder Ball Toss – great game.
Last week I posted a wedding card I had made as requested by a
friend of mine. She wanted a wedding card but it had to have red roses on it. I
made three so she would have a choice. Here is the second one I made.
This
is the same red rose flowered background that I cut from a 12x12 piece of paper
that came in a paper pack from the dollar store. I decided once I cut into a
12x12 I may as well use it up. The ovals were die cut using Spellbinder’s dies
and I tied the bow myself. The image came from a set I won and I coloured them
with Tombow Markers. I liked this one but it is not the one she chose.
More
thunderstorms predicted for tonight and tomorrow here in Ontario. This has been a stormy June for
sure. I decided my blog needed some colour and different fonts and I could not
decide which ones to use. Some days are just like that!
Cheers
Violet
