Blue and White

     The weather prediction for today was up to 90% rain and thunderstorms…..we had a couple of sprinkles! So they decided to predict the same for tomorrow. Whatever.

    Today’s card was an experiment….yes again….and this time I’m just barely okay with it. It just didn’t turn out as striking as I thought it would. See what you think.

                              
     I took a piece of dark blue cardstock and cut about 1” off each end and then about 1/2” off the middle piece. Then it was stamped with some leaf branches with white ink. The roses were stamped with the same white ink on the same blue coloured cardstock and I hand cut them. The leaves were stamped on dark green cardstock with black ink. The blue panels were then glued to a standard white card base of 4.25” x 5.5”. The roses and some hand cut stems were then glued on. The sentiment was stamped on a piece of white cardstock and then attached on an angle. Like I said, it’s okay but just okay. I’ll try this technique again but I may have to change it up a bit….but not sure how right now. Suggestions are welcome.
