Well the dreaded snow has all melted. Most of the tulips came back up but some were not as hardy and didn’t make it. A few were laying on the grass so I went out and cut them off and brought them into the house and they perked right up. It’s been a strange spring weather wise. Wednesday we had 6” of snow; today our neighbour cut his grass!
I’m very relieved I found my folder of cards that I have made but not posted yet. How it got moved into the quilt folder is beyond me - but I’m blaming it on a computer error! Here is one of the cards.
A friend of mine gave me a bag of old cards and most of them were from England. They were so beautiful I just had to give them a second life in another card. So for this card I die cut that portion of the picture and mounted it behind a blue frame which was from the back of the card . Then I cut that strip off the front of the card and added the silver peel-off sentiment. Everything was then mounted on a blue marbled card base. It is much prettier in real life than the photo shows.
That’s all for a warm but windy Friday on April 23, 2021. Have a safe and creative weekend everyone.
Cheers
Violet
