The last two days were wonderful with balmy weather right
around the freezing mark. After last week’s record-breaking lows, this is
balmy. Tomorrow will be a wet one with a mixture of rain, sleet and snow.
Today’s card is another one made with the Big Bloom set. Love
this die set.
I decided to turn white cardstock into all pink flowers and this used a lot of the
die cut flowers and blooms in the set. The leaves and the green branches are
also part of the set. Once again, I flipped the flowers and petals over and rubbed
the stylus around each petal and the flipped back again and pushed down in the centre.
This really gives the dimension in real life although not so much in the photo.
The background was plain white so before I glued the flowers down, I sponged on
some light blue ink. Once everything was adhered, a few gems were added. It was
then glued to a pink piece of cardstock and then on to a green card base.
That’s all for a warm…warmish?
Thursday night
Cheers
Violet
After some freezing temps we are warming up too... In the forecast i saw 87F for one day next week... crazy.. We need rain... All the rain has been going around us one way or another or forming just East of us... We did have one foggy drizzly day but that did not amount to much.. LOVE your card Violet! So much work went into this but i don't think you would call it work , for you its play!!! I've been painting unicorns on tshirts for the Grandlittles :) for Valentine's Day... Hugs! deb
