We are having terrible weather. Snow, rain and freezing rain
one after the other. It started in the middle of the night last night and will
not likely end until late tomorrow night. Monday is a holiday in Canada called
Family Day. A day when families are to spend the day together doing something fun.
The trouble is pretty much all family activities are closed because of the
weather. Even our church has canceled services tomorrow. I’ve had more than
enough of snow and winter this year. Bring on the sun and heat!
Today’s card was one of those ‘lets see how this looks’ without
much preplanning in mind….okay, no planning in mind.
I had those flowers die cut and the edges inked but had no
real plan for them. I also was looking for some paper scraps to use up….still
trying to reduce the scrap stash. So, the background is just two pieces of
paper, cream on top, blue on the bottom, with strips from the strip stash glued
together on an angle.
Then I just started gluing on the flowers. I didn’t add a
sentiment as this one could be used for many occasions.
That’s all for a snowy, icy February night.
Cheers
Violet
