African Inspired Quilt

This is my African inspired quilt. In real life its not quite so bright. I was the "computer person" for the Block of the Month club and these were the blocks that we presented to the guild that year.  Its hard to make out in this picture but the borders are African ladies dancing and children running and playing.  They were the inspiration for the quilt. I started to collect fabric that went well with it and made each block each month as we presented them and then put it together.

Here I am showing it at the quilt guild during Show and Share. I'm also wearing my Mystic Horses jacket that I made. It was posted earlier in the blog.
