Thinking of You Feather Card

Happy Easter!  A cloudy day here in Ontario but quite honestly, we could use an all day rain even if does have to come on the weekend. I don't think we are going to get that today though, just a shower or two.

Last week I was browsing the blogs I check out and came across a sketch I liked on "freshly made sketches" blog. I decided to whip up a quick card.

I had a coupon for a free stamp rental from The Paper Pickle and I happen to have hubby with me. I decided for him to pick out the stamp for me. Seemed like a good idea at the time but he picked this feather stamp. I used it as a snowflake in some Christmas cards but wanted to do something else too.  So, I made a thinking of you card. Just some left over paper, a Cuttlebug embossing folder for the strip on the right, and then embossed with Distress Ink. Nice quick card. I liked this sketch.
