Lest We Forget

Tomorrow, November 11th, is Remembrance Day in Canada and Veterans Day in United States. In Canada we buy a poppy with the dollars raised going to helping the veterans and we wear a poppy with pride and to remember all the brave men and women who died in war, including my uncle, Frank Willett who died in action just before the end of WWII and is buried in Italy.

This is my slate Remembrance Day sign on my front door. I painted it last year.
