Quilted Microwave Potholders

I thought I would post a picture of the microwave potholders I made. These work great. You just put your bowl on it, heat it in the microwave and when you remove it, you have no burnt fingers or the edge of a regular potholder sticking into the food. They are machine washable and dryable. If you are a sewer at all, you will find these easy to make and just do a search on the Internet and you will find lots of hits. A quilter friend of mine showed us how to make them. If you are not a quilter though, you will have to buy some batting (or beg for some left over batting from a quilter). They take more fabric then you think (2 FQ's for each one, or left over fabric from other projects) but still easy to make.

Here's the side view and the top view of them.

Not much to report today. Bad night, lots of pain and no sleep. So, needless to say, I'm tired and not very ambitious today.
