I’m very tired tonight but I wanted to post these photos. We
did 25km on the bikes yesterday and then today we hiked several trails at
Rondeau. It was another lovely weekend here except the wind had a cool bite to
it.
The Kingbirds like to sit on tiny branches or at the very top of trees and when they are down low like this it makes for an excellent photo shoot.
We found this discarded wasp nest that was ripped apart so I just had to take a picture of it.
This little Downey woodpecker kept drilling that hole until he found the worm or bug he was looking for. We were about 2 feet away from him and he didn't care one bit.
