Foggy! Foggy, cold and damp. Brrrrr. I really glad I’m driving
far today because it’s still foggy outside and I hate driving in fog. This is
day 3 of waking up to a foggy world too. The only place I have to go today is
to the ophthalmologist office this afternoon. He is very good, very thorough
which means he’s very slow. I started a crock pot meal in case I’m home very
late. Joe does not cook which I fine because I love to cook. He does most of
the housework which also suits me just fine.
Today’s card is one that used up paper from the stash.
This image sure didn’t take very long to colour – Prismacolor pencils
once again – but he sure is cute. Although as I look at him right now he looks like
he’s floating….I forgot to put some snow beneath him but I will do so now. I
pulled out some paper from the stash that all co-ordinated (love it when that
happens) and used my Spellbinder’s Card Creator to die cut the rectangles. The
other pieces were inked along the edges with blue ink and then I stamped on
some snowflakes (HOTP) with the same colour ink. It is all glued to a white
card base leaving about 1/8” border. Once it was glued on I decided the
ornament needed to have Glossy Accents on it make it look like glass. I always
have to set these cards with Glossy Accents or Stickles off to one side to dry
or I smudge them!
That’s all for a cool, damp, foggy Monday, December-07-15
Cheers
Violet
