It
was so nice to go for our walk this morning and have the sun shining down on
us! It was only in the 40’sF but the sun made it feel warmer. More rain is
expected tomorrow and on Friday but it’s looking good for the weekend.
Today’s
card was made with the Memory Box birthday die. I love this die because you can
do so many different things with it.
I
had some of these already die cut and stored in a bag and decided it was time to
use them before they got ruined. I pulled out these sunny yellow papers from
the stash; taped them together; glued the die cut on top; and then glued it all
to a 5 ½” card base. The flowers were then added with dimensional glue dots. They are from K and company
and I found them at Dollarama and I think I bought two packages of them. The
large leaf behind the flower on the right was from another die set. It had to
have some bling so I added some yellow stickles to the middle of the flowers
and clear glitter glue over the flowers. This was a quick card to put together
but I think it turned out okay.
That’s
all for a sunny Wednesday, March 29, 2017
Cheers
Violet
