For the Outdoor Girl

Another beautiful sunny day here in Ontario….this week has felt like an Indian summer week without having the cold spell before it. However, cold and rainy weather is coming so we spent the day finalizing the fall clean-up. No more gardening until spring now.

Today’s card was made for a young girl who was not the girly-girly princess type but more of the outdoor type.

The papers are all from the stash and I like the dark against the lighter colour for contrast….which is close to the colours used on her outfit. The ovals were cut with Spellbinder dies. This is a Magnolia stamp and was coloured with coloured pencils and blended with gamsol. Chalk was used for the sky and road. The sentiment is a peel-off and I hand cut the banner.

That’s all for a lovely fall Friday, October 20, 2017.

Cheers

Violet
