A Young Girl's Birthday Card

End of August which means the end of summer – boooooo. I’m not ready for summer to end. I love the fall colours but then winter comes…not my favourite season!

There were no postings last week – too busy and too many bad days and I didn’t even turn the computer on several days in a row. I’ve been busy making quilts and masks and scrub hats again so no card making or scrapbooking getting done. So, postings may be a bit erratic for a while. I do have a few cards made that I have no posted yet and this is one of them.

The image is a free download from the Internet and it was coloured with pencils and blended with gamsol.  The image was die cut using a Spellbinder’s die. The card base was made and the pieces left over were used mount the image on as well as the die cut stitched banner. The patterned paper is from the stash. Once the image was coloured, the card came together pretty quickly.

That’s all for a lovely end of summer day on Monday August 31, 2020.

Cheers

Violet

PS: To save a card to your Pinterest account, simply hover over the image until the ‘Pin It” symbol appears and then click…it sometimes take a few seconds. This will take you to your own Pinterest account to save the card.
