Bitter cold and snow is what we had to put up over the weekend – and again today. I’ve had enough of winter. This says it all.
I did get a
few cards made though. This time I decided to stamp and emboss several pieces
of previously made backgrounds with the same stamp and see how I could change
them. All but one of the backgrounds were created with alcohol ink on glossy
cardstock. Here’s the first one.
After the
cardstock was heat embossed with white it was cut down to 3.75x5 and was glued
to a white cardstock piece that was 4x5.25. Then a large label was die cut
along with a circle to fit behind it. The sentiment was stamped on the circle
and then glued behind the label which was glued over the focal piece. It was
then glued to a standard 4.25 x 5.5 card base and a few sequins were added.
This will be a birthday card but it could be used for a wedding card as well.
That’s all for a very snowy and wintery Monday, February 1, 2021.
