Humourous Card

 Another week has flown by and it’s the middle of September already! Its been very hot and humid here so it still feels like August.

Last week I was in the mood to make some humourous cards. This is an old stamp from Art Impressions. Love their stamps.

                                 

The stamped image was coloured with pencils and blended with gamsol - still my favourite way to colour images.  Then I stamped the sentiment from two different stamp sets plus I wrote the ‘to you’ because I couldn’t find my ‘Happy Birthday to you” stamp - until I was putting the other ones away and there it was. Duh!

I picked some ribbon that had the same colour blue as her dress and added that with just a knot at the end instead of a bow. I like to do that with thick ribbon. Then it was mounted on a blue card base about the same blue as the dress and the ribbon.
