We are having a very cold fall day today along with some rain. I still have some garden work to finish but it will likely be the weekend before I get to it.
Although I have the Halloween cards made and mailed, I still have a few to post. Here is the one featuring Tim Holtz ‘The Count’….. so many little pieces. I’m not buying any more of these.
Once the Count was made…far too time consuming to make very often.. I had no idea what to do with it. So, I flipped through the paper pack and started pulling out some papers. I liked the dead flower and leaves paper so it was used that as the background. Then I cut the boring middle out of one of the 4x6 cards and replaced it with the skeleton and other dead things. Then I spotted this ‘crushed skull” on another page and decided to go for a restaurant design. The edges of the crushed skull piece were inked with black ink and it was glued on an angle. “Today’s Special” was written on a piece of scrap paper and was glued on. The ‘It’s to die for’ sign was on yet another page but it seemed to work well here. Then the Count was glued on as the maitre d.
That’s all for a cold and rainy Monday, October 17, 2022.
Cheers
Violet

Yeah i decided life is too short to deal with all those little pieces.. Although with this card it was definitely worth the effort! I think it turned out great! Always love your imagination and creativity Violet. You are so clever! Your cards are always fabulous and professional looking.. Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteThank you for that kind comment. I always feel my cards are amateurish looking, not professional. You just made my day with that comment.
