We are now in November. My least favourite month. The trees
will soon be bare, crops are in so the fields are just dirt, and its going to
be cold and windy. But that also means I’m in the house more so more crafting time.
Here is one card I finished earlier this month.
I used some left over wood grain paper for the background and
added a strip of dark brown for a ledge. All the elements were die cut and
assembled- lots of little pieces but I enjoy puzzles, so I enjoy making these.
Some days when I’m tired or not feeling great, I just sit and make various
elements and then they are ready when I want to make a card. The tin can holding
the worms – also a die cut – was die cut from silver cardstock and then I
grunged it up to look old. The pail had the edges inked in black ink to add
some shape to it. The elements took a much longer time to make then the card
did.
That’s all for a cold and windy Sunday on November 3, 2024.
Cheers
Violet
