Wish!

Today's card was made using one of the mini stamps from Hot off the Press I bought from Paper Wishes. Love those mini stamps!

I stamped the image and the word Wish (that came with the set) by pouncing on VersaMark and then green ink and them embossed it. The only embossing power I really buy now is clear and gold and some specialty, glittery ones. I find by using the VersaMark first and then ink, I can get any colour I want.

The little bits flying off the dandelion also came with the set and I stamped them three times without re-inking the stamp.

Once I stamped the ;main image I cleaned the stamp, covered up the stem of the dandelion and stamped the top using my Glue Stamp pad, stamped over top of the green and sprinkled on glitter. I did the same with the flying bits. Then I realized that this glitter had a bit of pink with it..but I didn't mind it and I used the background paper with a bit of pink in it too so that tied it in nicely. Ribbon was wrapped around two corners and then mounted on green and then I added the other pieces. Went together pretty quickly really.
