Lilypad Colour Challenge Card

One of the blogs I check out quite often is this one - http://www.lilypad.inlinkz.com/

They have various challenges and I have never submitted anything but this time the challenge was to use a couple colours of teal and wine/burgundy. I had picked up a 6x6 paper pad at the Paper Pickle called Madeline by Prima Marketing and I knew those colours were in it. So, I made a card. Not sure if I will upload it to them but I like it anyway.

This is a cut-away card. The paper was 6x6 and my card was 5.5 inches and I didn't want to cut off the right side so I cut the card instead and glued the left over strip to the inside. The label came with the paper pad but I added the teal paper behind it and cut around the label. I added the sentiment, the butterfly, the bow and the small tags and flower and pearl dangle.

I stamped the butterfly onto the label, then stamped it again on white cardstock, cut it out and just glued down the centre. The stamped part on the label looks like a shadow that way. I stamped some small sentiments on left over paper from the same pack and die cut small tags with Provocraft dies.I made the little flower dangle and glued them all under the bow. The bow came from the shoe factory.

Here's the side view of the card.

I cut a fancy label from the same blue around the label on the front with a nice verse inside of it.
