Red Rose Sympathy Card

I got so busy sewing today that I just realized that I had not sat down at the computer to post anything. Of course, the weather is wonderful, as long as you are out of the direct sun, so there was awhile that I spent on the porch having a coffee and reading. Love summer!

So, today I'm posting a sympathy card. Sad to say that I have to make a lot of these it seems. This one features a rose from my own garden.

I took some pictures of some of my roses in bloom. I have Photoshop Elements 9 so I opened them in PS and added the text right onto the photo and then printed them out wallet size. The paper is from a paper pack so I just layered them together, added the photo and a white ribbon. Simple but elegant. Sometimes, less is more.
