Santa with Presents

Today Joe asked me if I was going to dust the shelves and computer desk - which is my job as he hates doing it but I said no way. I'm not moving all those Christmas knick knacks and decorations just to dust. Too much work. I told him I'll do it when I put them away. He said "That's another three weeks!" I looked at him straight in the eye and said "Christmas is one week from today! Seven days!" Yeah, its crept up on everybody. I left him to doing the rest of the housework and headed back to my sewing room. I'm on the last pair of pj's today and I've been making microwave pot holders for the girls for Christmas. These are very cool. You set a single bowl or cup in the pot holder, which is curved upwards, and heat your food. When it's ready you just pick up the pot holder to remove it instead of burning your hands on a hot dish or trying to get a regular pot holder around it. Very handy.

Today I'm posting one of the cards I made for the the grandsons. This one is for the youngest. I remembered not to put anything on it he can peel off - he's only 2-1/2.

Santa was stamped with Archival ink and coloured with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I added a wee bit of glitter to his coat, hat and around him, but not much. The card and his suit looks pink but it's really red. The strip is also red and it's gift wrap tape.
