Tall Ice Cream Cone Card

Well, I'm still on the "injured reserve" as hubby calls it. Here's an update.
1) I still have laryngitis - 16 days and showing no sign of improving yet.
2) The cold is almost gone but it has drained me of energy.
3) The finger is healing but I don't dare touch anything with it. Still typing without using it - awkward.
4) Hubby is now coming down with my cold - oh, oh. Hope we don't just keep passing it back and forth.

A friend of mine stopped in today with a surprise gift. She had 3 large bisque plates that she never did anything with and decided I should have them. She was going to decoupage a picture on them but I'm leaning towards painting something. She doesn't care what I do with them. I know, just what I need, another project! In case you didn't know, bisque is fired greenware which is more commonly known as 'ceramics'.

This week's challenge at Stamping Bella was a free to do anything week. Here' my card.

This is one one of my favorite stamps now. Love it! I coloured this one with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol and added some glitter on her dress and around her. The Spellbinder die I used is perfect for these large images. After cutting and embossing it I sponged on some pink ink around the edge and some green for grass before removing it from the die. The background paper is from Daisy D but an old set.
Another weekend is upon us. Have a good one but check my blog over the weekend. I have two more cards to post before Monday.
