FORE!

Well the rainy weather and my cough continues. Now I know what a cat feels like when it coughs up a fur ball! The Blue Jays and Tigers are actually playing ball in the rain in Detroit but I'm not watching the baseball game today though. My Blue Jays are getting hammered!

Today's card is for the male golfer. Joe can golf but hasn't in years and years. I've only gone to driving ranges a couple of times and I've never been on the golf course. Well, except for a mini-put golf which we both really enjoy. Joe teaching me to golf was one of the things we were going to do when we both retired. Well, that didn't happen. My brain disorders put an end to that one. Turns out when I swing a golf club I keep going towards the ground.  Having to pick me up after every swing really gets old fast! Now I could golf left-handed because I am ambidextrous and I don't fall down when I lean to the left but we decided to stick to mini-golf. Same thing happens when I bowl with the right hand too. Another one of the bumps in the road of life we have to live with.

Love this image! I bought this stamp at the Paper Pickle when they sold off all their stamps. This one was coloured with water colour pencils. I found the background paper is my stash and it looked like colourful golf balls so I decided it was perfect for this card. I mounted the coloured image onto another piece from my stash and ripped the bottom off - no particular reason, I just felt like it. I added the peel-and-stick sentiment and squiggles. I love to colour these images. So relaxing.
