Camping

It's a very wet weekend here in Ontario so no, we are no camping. In fact, we are not campers at all. I would love to have a trailer and go camping but Joe has zero interest in it so we just make day trips. However, all of my girls and their families love to camp and Barbi was kind enough to send me some photos of their camping trip from a couple of years ago.

 Below are the individual pages

My daughter and oldest son, Jack. All the paper and most of the embellishments are from Hot Off the Press - Paper Wishes. This is one of their "Finished in a Flash" sets. Well, I never finish anything in a flash but I do like their papers and all the embellishments that come with it. I added a few of my own like the funky flower around the top left picture. I hand cut that from another piece of paper, which was mounted on cardstock first and then added with dimensional glue dots. The frames are not part of the kit. I make them myself with matching paper.

Note the half scallop circle behind Seth's head that has "fun" on it. The other half is on the other page and the negative part frames the bottom picture. The word "boys" was die cut with alphabet dies and I just had to add that little mouse. It's a stamp a friend gave me and I have never used it. The little bird at the top is a wooden one that I dabbed some colour on. Little boys are such smart alecs but then again, look at the dad - who do they take after?

Here is the double page spread.
