Well, yesterday I reported that it was a dull and dreary day
– today is the same but add in cold rain and fog. If you are a regular reader
you would know that my brain disorders do not like abrupt changes of
temperature or a quick fall of the barometric pressure so I haven’t been to
Aqua Fit for two days. Yesterday was a quilting day but I really wanted some
exercise today. I decided I was having much less pain by 10:00 so I thought I’d
go at 11:00 instead of 8:30 – didn’t happen. Joe (the worry-wort) assured me
the weather report from the radio said it was going to quit raining by noon so
we could go for a nice long walk in the afternoon. Besides that, the car was
blocked in by the guy fixing the furnace (bearings went on the motor - $$ouch)
and he had already moved his van once to let my friend leave that had stopped
in so not nice to ask him to move it again. Well, once again the weather report
was wrong. It never did stop raining but our local scrapbook store had called
to say my order was in so we down there and to the library and walked to the
mall, and around the mall which doesn’t take long – small mall) so we got a bit
of exercise in but not much. Maybe tomorrow I’ll go to “Y”. Although they are
now calling for snow. I hate winter. I really do.
But, its another Friday so that means it’s another
Bellariffic Challenge card. This week she posted a wreath with lots of colours
on it and said to make a card from anything in the picture or pull colours from
the picture. I had just the image stamped and already coloured that met the
requirements.
This is one of the new stamps she just released awhile back.
I love it.
I’ve stamped it several times
already and coloured it in different colours. In her sample, the scooter rider
is riding straight but I like it on an angle and
Stamping
Bella made a comment that she liked the way I stamped it too
so that was cool. This one picks up the purple and green from her picture. It
is coloured with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. The sentiment is from another
one of her new stamps but I think it does better with this image so that’s
where I use it.
I think I’ll go take a peek at what I bought at the Paper
Pickle. I had ordered the Sizzix/Tim Holtz gear die and embossing pack and they
just came in. She was having a 50% off sale of Basic Grey products so a few of
those jumped into my arms as I was walking by. Hey, it happens people!
That’s all for a Friday. Hope your weekend is a happy,
healthy and creative one.
Cheers
Violet
