We had a wonderful church service this morning! It was our
cantata service. Our church has a HUGE pipe organ and our organist is masterful
at playing it. The choir was great and the children were so cute. We have way
more girls than boys right now so we ended up with many angels, three wise men
but only one shepherd but he did have one sheep with him – someone made a very
good full body sheep suit and it was excellent. Some of the little angels read
the scriptures throughout the service and one little girl about 6 or 7 sang a
solo. You can tell the children are very involved with the church and getting
up in front of the congregation is not new to them at all. Wonderful start to
the week and lifted my spirits big time.
So, I thought I would post another Christmas layout. This is
my youngest daughter and her husband and two sons.
Pretty easy layout. The trees and the strip down the left
side were cut from some glitter paper I picked up at a dollar store. The other
paper was cream cardstock that was inked with green and yellow so it would
blend in with the other paper. The title started out as plain chipboard but I
sponged alcohol inks over them to get the right colours. The snowflake was also
die cut with two of the Spellbinder Snowflake dies and green glitter was added
as well as the red dots. I added the red ribbon to pick up on the red stocking
and the red package and teddy bear clothing. When you have one main colour throughout
the pages, the eye automatically follows that colour and goes around and around
the pages.
Here is a close-up of each page.
Take care everyone!
Cheers
Violet

It could be spring. Have a wonderful holiday Violet. Hubby and i don't go to church but sounds like your service was beautiful! Hugs! deb
