Digi Stamped Card

It was a bit of a shock at 8:00 this morning when I happened to look outside and see snow flurries. They quickly disappeared but kept reappearing all morning. At 2:00 I happened to come out of my sewing room, which as no windows as it’s a huge walk-in closet, and looked out the back door to observe a January-like snow storm. Incredible! Once again the lawn is covered with snow but hopefully it won’t last long. This is the winter that won’t leave!

Today’s card is one I made with a digital image. This was a quick card to make but I really like it.

The image was coloured with Prismacolor pencils. The rectangles were die cut with the Spellbinder’s Create-A-Card die set. The first rectangle is the same paper as the bottom of the card, then a white layer, and then a dark maroon layer which matches the ribbon – luckily! The top of the card was made with a huge background stamp that I inked up in the same colour as the bottom paper and stamped it on white cardstock, and then the edges were inked. The sentiment is a peel-and-stick.

And that would be all for a snowy March Tuesday.

Cheers

Violet
