Summer days are the best days. It was another beautiful day here in Ontario but I was too tired to do much to
enjoy it. I woke up at 1:00 last night and didn’t get back to sleep until
almost 4:30. Darn old brain disorders decided to attack in the middle of the
night. So glad that doesn’t happen very often anymore. Feeling better now so that is good.
This was laundry day –
again. When I hung the clothes out on the line on Monday one of the wires
snapped. This is one of those umbrella type clotheslines that was there when we
moved in 26 years ago. This morning another one snapped. Time to rewire it! We
went out and bought the wire but neither one of us really know how to do it so
it should be an interesting experience! We work together very well though and
neither one of us gets upset when things go wrong. We prefer to laugh about it
instead. We do a lot of laughing around here some days!!!!
Today’s
card is another sweet Magnolia image.
Once
again this image was coloured with Prismacolor pencils and blended a bit with
gamsol. I like to sit in the TV room and colour as I listen to the baseball
games – go Toronto Blue Jays! The ovals were die cut with Spellbinder dies. The
pink swirly paper was in the stash just as it is. I pulled it out and thought
it would go nicely with the pink on her dress and glued it onto the background
paper. I think it makes a nice contrast – and uses up more stash! The flowers
die cut with various dies. The fern was from a Martha Stewart punch.
Hope you are all
having a great day!
Cheers
Violet
