Not much to
report today except one of those dreadful senior moments I just had when I
accidently hit the wrong button and instead of putting some library books on
hold, I deleted the entire list. Groan. I re-found most of them and requested
them and then froze them correctly. Too many books come available at the same
time and it was time to freeze some until I get caught up.
Today’s card
is the one I made for the Stamping Bella weekly challenge. This time I made
another Christmas card because the challenge was to make a card, using one of
he stamps of course, from a photo she posted featuring a Christmas wreath in
red and green.
I coloured
the cats with my trusty old Prismacolor pencils, blended with gamsol. The
background paper is from an old 6x6 paper pack. I had made another background
with the other two pieces of paper for a card earlier in the year so I just
taped this one together and put it back in the paper pack for future use –
which was this week. I used a square card that had the rounded bottom so I put another strip of paper from the same paper pack on the inside so it peaks through at the front. I didn't like the white showing. There is a gold sticker line over the seam – but not
behind the square. Why waste a gold line that will never be seen. That’s why I
keep all the small bits left over from other projects. The sentiment and the
three stars are also gold stickers.
That’s it for
another week. Have a wonderful weekend everyone.
Cheers
Violet
