A Celebrate Everything Card!....and a Robin visit.

We went to enjoy our coffee on the front porch this morning and a small robin fledging was waiting for us - and didn't leave. Here's a couple of pictures I took of Joe and the robin.

This is a close-up of the fledging robin. I was a little worried about him at first but he was just resting I guess because after he sat there for about 20 minutes he flew down to the lawn.
Well it was a hot and humid but wet and dreary weekend and it continues tonight as we are expecting yet another thunderstorm. We had to break down and turn the A/C on as it was getting a little too warm in the house today. All activities were cancelled for the weekend so other than making a few cards and visiting with the sister-in-law we didn’t do much so I’ll get right to the card I’m posting today.....a Celebrate Everything Card!

This is another one of Tim Holtz’s Crazy Birds stamps. Love these stamps. The background was done with blotches of water colour paint. The bird was also painted. The sentiment is from another set but I have no idea who the manufacturer is. It just needed a little something more so I added the 3-D present that I found in the stash. Love it!

That’s all for a stormy Monday night,

Cheers
Violet

  1. Violet you are so knowledgeable ... i never would have guessed that was a young robin... I would need the red breast to be able to identify... Those pictures with Joe are priceless!

I just love the Tim Holtz birds... i have yet to see them in my craft store .. but i have to say they make me want to try to doodle my own goofy birds..lol I love the way you've colored this one!

Tropical Storm Bill looks to be on its way to us... It wouldn't hurt to have some more rain around here even though it rained off and on all day yesterday. Lets just hope we don't get too much of a good thing...lol Hugs! deb
