First
of all I want to thank those that left some very kind comments on the last few
blog postings. I tried to email each and every one of you but for some unknown
reason, I was unable to do so. So thank you. All comments are very much
appreciated.
Well
we finally had some rain fall on Saturday – but the only trouble is it came
with some funnel clouds and one touched down quite a bit east of us, along the
lake…but luckily it was a low level tornado so no major extensive damages and
no injuries. Just rain and some thunder here….more rain today and tomorrow they
are predicting torrential rain. Weird summer!
We
are having our grandsons here this week so there will be no creative endeavours
for me and postings will be hit and miss.
Today’s
card meets this challenge: http://thepaperplayers.blogspot.ca
I love flowers on a card....or in my garden....or in my house!
The
stamp is from Stamping Bella but it may be discontinued as it is an oldie. The
dies are all Spellbinders. This one was coloured with Prismacolor pencils and
blended with gamsol. A Wink of Stella was used to add some bling to the flowers
and her dress. Gold coloured gems were added to the centre of the daisies. The
background was sponged with various colours of chalk. The paper and ribbon were
from the stash. The sentiment is a gold peel-off.
Don’t
forget you are more than welcome to save any cards to your Pinterest account
for future reference. Simply place the curser over the picture until the
Pinterest sign shows up and enter. This will take you to your Pinterest
account.
That’s
all for a very wet Monday,
Cheers
Violet
