A Very Pink Card

Brrrrr. It is very cold and an even colder wind blowing here in Ontario. We had just enough snow yesterday to cover the ground and make me shovel it off the driveway and if we don’t get anymore I’ll be happy.

Today’s card is another one comprised from the stash but if I didn’t tell you this, I doubt if you would know. I just pulled out the pink bag and sorted through it removing a few pieces of paper and/or cardstock that matched.

 

The poppies (Just Rite) were stamped and coloured with Prismacolor pencils and the blue is chalk. It was die cut with a Spellbinder’s fancy circle die. The stitched rectangles were die cut with the Elizabeth dies and the oval was die cut with a Stampin’ Up stitched die. A silver peel-off strip was added over the seam where the two pieces of paper were joined. The sentiment was stamped and the oval piece was adhered with a dimensional strip. Once the card was completed, Wink of Stella was added to the flowers to give them some shimmer.
