The sun actually shone today but that wind had a bite to hit - especially the gusts! However we bundled up and went for an hour's walk today.
I finished the quilt I'm donating to the Friends of Rondeau at Rondeau Provincial Park for their 2017 raffle. It is valued at $850.00. Here is a photo of it....hubby is holding it up so it's not straight but best he could do.
This was machine quilted by dropping the feed dogs and doing free motion quilting but I neglected to take any close up photos of it.
Hopefully this quilt will generate a few ticket sales. If you are in Southwestern Ontario this spring/summer/fall be sure to stop in at the visitor's centre to see the quilt up close and perhaps even by a ticket. They usually sell the tickets for $2.00 each or 3 for $5. which is a real bargain. The first prize is usually two bicycles.
That's all for a somewhat sunny but cool windy Tuesday, Feb 14, 2017.
Cheers
Violet
