Tomorrow,
July 1st, is Canada ’s
150th birthday! Lots of celebrations being planned but a lot of them
will be rained out. My youngest grandson, Finn, won one of the “Kindness” awards
and will be presented with a certificate at an event tomorrow. 150 school age
children in the entire county where he lives had a chance to be nominated and
win…and he was one of them. He’s a great kid so I’m not surprised.
We
had a big July 1st celebration at a park in 2015 and I have the
photos on layouts that were computer generated by using templates from the now
extinct ScrapbookEtc. Magazine. I don’t have the pages finished yet but here is
what they look like in the templates.
Yes,
the boys are all hams! We had a great time there but this year they all have
other plans for tomorrow so our BBQ get-together will likely be on Sunday or
Monday, depending on the weather.
Have
a wonderful, safe and happy weekend everyone. If you are Canadian, Happy Canada
Day! If you are not, then I wish you a wonderful weekend wherever you are.....and remember, be kind, always.
Cheers
Violet
