Scrapbooking in a Grid

My garden is looking absolutely beautiful. June is the best month! Today I spread a thin layer of peat moss over the entire garden and it makes it look so much nicer and neater.....for lack of a better word. We are expecting another thunderstorm tonight and this will be the last of the cool weather for awhile. Tomorrow afternoon it is predicted to be 30ÂșC (86F) and with the humidity it will feel about 10 degrees hotter. I sure hope the A/C is going to work!

Today I’m posting a scrapbook layout that I did in a grid. Here are the two pages together.

I had a lot of photos of the grandsons playing in the park and once they were printed, I wanted to use them. This time I simply marked out a grid; trimmed the photos to fit; inked the edges with a black photo-safe pen and glued them down with the green designer paper to fill in some blanks and to give the eye a place to rest. A thin strip of black cardstock was added to the top and bottom of the main grid to ground it. I had some of the green paper left over so a piece was glued to a cereal box and then die cut using the Stampin’ Up Alphabet die set.

Here are the two pages by themselves for a closer look. Double click on any photo to enlarge it.

That’s all for a sunny lovely…..so far…..Friday, June 9, 2017.

Cheers

Violet

Don’t forget you are more than welcome to save any cards or other items I post to your Pinterest account for future reference. Simply place the curser over the picture until the Pinterest save sign shows up in the top left corner and enter. This will take you to your Pinterest account. If it doesn’t work, please leave a comment and let me know so I fix it. Thanks.
