We
had wonderful weather over the weekend and today has been nice so far but we another thunderstorm could occur. From the looks of the sky it is raining
now to the south of us. The A/C has been off for about 5 days and its lovely sleeping
with the windows open.
This
is a holiday Monday in Canada
called Civic Day in most of the country but some provinces have special names
for it. Who cares what its called – it’s a holiday!....not that holiday Mondays
mean much to us retired people but its nice for the workers to enjoy another
long weekend in the summer.
Today’s
card is one I made using the negative of the oval die cut piece as a stencil.
Once
the oval was inked to my satisfaction I stamped the Stampin’ Up flower silhouette
stamp using the same ink but full strength. I added the green ribbon and hand
tied bow in a similar but slightly different colour of green. Then it was
mounted on a darker green piece of cardstock and then onto to a light green
card base. The sentiment is a peel-off.
That’s
all for a still sunny for now Monday, August 7, 2017.
Cheers
Violet
