The
hurricane season is a very scary one this year. Prayers for all those in the
path of Irma! We seem to be having a lot of thunderstorms again this year but
they have not been overly strong and seldom destructive here….a few other
places have not been so lucky though.
Today
was yard work day! Tired….even though I don’t do all that much! Fall clean-up
is no way near as much fun as spring planting!
Today’s
card is another using the die my friend lent me but in a totally different
layout.
This time it was die cut out of silver cardstock
and I glued the petals back into place. The background paper is from a 6” paper
pack from last year that was cut down to 5 ½”. The polka dot paper is from the
stash. Once again I cut ¼” strips from the left over sides of the silver
cardstock and placed them over the seams of the polka dot/background. A silver
peel-off sentiment was added. This was a very quick card to put together but I
liked how it turned out.
Cheers
Violet
