And the weather outside is…..changing by the hour and
sometimes by the half-hour! I think every time we looked out the window, it was
doing something different. What a weird weather day. It started out by snowing
last night but then quit; this morning, snowing again – rain – a bit of freezing
rain – overcast – snow pellets – overcast – hard snow – soft fluffy snowflakes –
rain – overcast – and repeat over and over and over until about 4:00 when it
started to snow again and stayed snowing until it decided to turn to freezing
rain again about 6:00. Joe took out garbage out and said our driveway was like
an ice rink. Horrible weather! More of the same tomorrow and Friday! Yuck!
Today’s card is another stamped image from Stampin’
Up’s Beautiful You stamp set.
The last card I posted was for the young females
and this one is more suitable for the above 30 group. This is a quick and easy
card even though it may not appear so. The image was stamped and I coloured it
with Distress Ink using an Aqua Pen. The ovals were all from a Stampin’ Up
stitched oval set. The white part is an embossed sheet of white cardstock using
an old embossing folder. I cut it down a bit and mounted it on the blue
cardstock and then on designer paper…from the stash… and then on the white card
base. The sentiment was heat embossed and is popped up a bit with dimensional
glue tape.
That’s all for a miserable-weather Wednesday, March
7, 2018. Take care everyone and I’ll be back on Friday with another post. Until
then, feel free to scroll down to see other posts you may have missed. If you
are looking for ideas for a particular project, click on one of the LABELS on
the right and it will bring up only those posts.
Cheers
Violet
