Brrrrr. Yup, the dreaded high humidity ended and
it feels quite cool by comparison. We had a high of 20C (68F) today which is so
much more comfortable than the last few weeks when the temps were right around
the 100F mark. The remnants of Hurricane Gordon is going to affect us Sunday
and Monday with high winds and pounding rain. We hope to get a nice long hike
in tomorrow.
Today’s card is a combination of several products….I
love to mix and match and make the supplies go further.
The green polka dot paper and “happy” is from the
paper pack that I’ve been using up the bits from. The pink at the top and the
wavy lines are from the stash. The ‘happy birthday’ was die cut using a Memory
Box die. The wavy lines were die cut from the Elizabeth Craft Design set. The
butterfly is from a Memory Box die. I taped that polka dot and the paper from ‘happy’
together and die cut them. Then I removed the tape and added the pink paper. It
needed something across the bottom so I die cut two wavy ribbons and glued them
on so they crossed each other. Then I decided to add the butterfly.
That’s all for a lovely Friday on September, 7,
2018. Have a wonderful, safe and creative weekend everyone.
Cheers
Violet
