Canada Day Greetins and a Card

Happy Canada Day to all the Canadian readers. We have had a very hot and humid long weekend here but no rain so that was good. There were all kinds of festivals in most cities and the rain sure puts the damper on the fun so hot and humid is way better than rain. However, it was too hot (close to 100F) and too crowded at our city’s festivals for Joe to attend so we headed out to Rondeau Park yesterday for a veggie burger lunch and a relaxing afternoon….. and ending the visit with an ice cream cone….can’t go to Rondeau without having an ice cream cone. It was also much cooler at the lake than here in the city.

I just can’t stop making these Ninja cards. So darn cute.

This time I simply die cut that sunburst and glued it to the green card base. My sister had given me a package of very large green cards and envelopes but I didn’t want one that large so I just cut it down to the normal A2 size. I used a piece that was cut off for the sentiment. The Ninja was die cut out of black cardstock and again out of black foam and glued together and then glued to the middle of the sunburst. Definitely a quick and easy card but I think a young boy will really like it.

That’s all for a hot and humid Monday, July 1, 2019.

Cheers

Violet

PS: To save a card to your Pinterest account, simply hover over the image until the ‘Pin It” symbol appears and then click…it sometimes take a few seconds. This will take you to your own Pinterest account to save the card.
