The high heat and humidity is back once again although the weekend was pretty darn nice. Major thunderstorm and massive amounts of rain expected all around this area tonight and tomorrow….it quite often misses us but according to the weather network the system is unstable and they cannot predict its path…so everyone has to take care tonight. Luckily we have no danger of being flooded out but many towns and cities have had flood problems all year. It’s been quite the summer weather-wise.
Today I’m posting three cards because they are all made from the same die …but in different colours.
The die was used three times to get three different coloured frames and inside pieces….believe it or not these are all the same cardstock but for some reason the camera turned one of them orange…so odd. Each card is a 5.5 square white card base. I didn’t want it white so I splattered on some watered down ink. . Then it was a simple matter of rearranging them to form a pattern. One sentiment was stamped; one is a peel-off; and one is computer generated. They are one stitched fishtail banner dies. I have a lot of quilting friends so I’ll definitely use this die a lot. I’m already thinking of which quilting friends are getting a Christmas card from this die.
That’s all for a hot and humid Monday, August 12, 2019. I’ll be back on Wednesday with another card.
Cheers
Violet
