A Quick and Easy Card

            Although it is only Sept 2, it’s the beginning of fall to me! We are having a rain shower right now which we need and so glad it’s nothing like that Hurricane Dorian is doing to the Bahamas and now on its way to Florida….scary!  We quite often get some heavy rain as the remnants the some of the hurricanes though but again, nothing like when they first hit land.

        Today’s card is another quick and easy one.

 

         Although I love to sit and colour images for cards, sometimes I need a card in a hurry and there is no time for colouring. For this card I found a piece of that dark purple in the stash along with the light purple and decided to turn them into a sympathy card. The dark purple was cut down to 4” x 5.25” so it fit on the card base leaving a small border. The light purple was already the size it is so it was just glued down. The flower came from a package of flowers from the dollar store and it matched perfectly. The banner was hand cut from the left over piece of dark purple. The sentiment is a peel-off.
