A Chuckler

The wind has a very cool bite today!....too cold to just sit outside on the porch this morning. We quite often like to sit out there and have a coffee and just watch people not stop at the stop sign and those talking on their cell phones while driving….a terrible habit and there are so many people who still do this….a tragedy waiting to happen! We saw a lady coming down the street, obviously texting, and she swerved into the curb so hard I’m surprised her car didn’t tip over.

This is the last weekend of summer….boo hoo…we are summer people not winter people although the fall colours are my favourite colour palette. I always get the urge to paint when we go for a drive and see all the beautiful fall leaves.

Today’s card is a real chuckler! Love these Art Impression Dies but I have no idea if it is still available.

This image was once again coloured with pencils and blended with gamsol. The background around the image was sponged on with chalk. The background paper came from a 6” paper pack I picked up on sale….of course…from Michaels and it was cut down to fit my card base. The sentiment was computer generated.

That’s all for a cool last Friday of the summer on August 30, 2019. Hope all of you who celebrate Labour Day Weekend have a great one. Kids in Canada start back to school next week. Parents are rejoicing I’m sure! I’ll be back next week with another posting.

 Cheers

Violet

PS: To save a card to your Pinterest account, simply hover over the image until the ‘Pin It” symbol appears and then click…it sometimes take a few seconds. This will take you to your own Pinterest account to save the card.
