An Experiment Card

        Other than a few rain drops yesterday, the weekend was pretty nice…coolish but then again it is September. Some of the leaves are already starting turn colour.

        Today’s card was an experiment and its okay but I think I’ll try again to improve on it. I’ve seen this technique on several YouTube videos and I have wanted to try it.

 

       I took a piece of patterned paper and cut it down to 5 ¼” x 4” so it would fit on a standard card and leave a small border. Then I die cut a piece out of the centre and glued that to a piece of plain pink that was ¼” larger and then glued it onto the background piece matching up the pattern best I could. Then I just stamped the sentiment (old Stampin’ Up stamp set) on a piece of white cardstock; inked the edges and glued it on. Its okay, but I can do better.
