What a cold rainy day it was today – and will be repeated tomorrow. Something tells me we won’t have very many kids out for Halloween this year….which means a lot of chocolate bars left over. I’m not fond of chocolate but Joe is a chocoholic so he probably won’t be complaining if there are lots left over.
Today’s card may be too bulky to mail – it may be a hand delivered only card.
I die cut the snowshoes three times from Kraft cardstock; inked the edges with a darker brown, and then glued them together….I think two would have been enough! All the paper is from the same paper pack. I liked the background paper to go with the snowshoes so I cut out one of the printed labels to mount the snowshoes on. The ferns were punched with the Martha Stewart very old punch ….. but still one of my most often used and then I just tied a baker’s twine bow to be on top. The sentiments were also die cut three times and glued together. They needed something to sit on and I wanted to break up that background so I just used three different strips from the same paper pack which I quite liked.
That’s all for a cold and rainy Wednesday, October 30, 2019.
Cheers
Violet
