Quick and Easy Christmas Card

Fall is officially over – brrrrr. It rained here pretty much all day Wednesday and Thursday and then it got windy….really windy. We had almost hurricane force winds yesterday but luckily they didn’t start until about 9:00 last night when most of the trick and treaters were gone. We only had 46 children come to the door last night…and we bought a box of 95 chocolate bars …we took the extra ones to the food bank this morning. I kept a few out for Joe but I’m not fond of chocolate so I was happy to see them gone. The temperatures also dropped around midnight and there was a chance of snow…but it didn’t happen here….but it sure did further north of us. Yup, fall is over, winter is here. Bah Humbug!

Today’s card is another Christmas card that could fall under the quick and easy category.

I used a piece of designer paper from a 6” paper pack and cut it down to fit on a standard card base – 4.25 x 5.5. The sentiment is die cut- Memory Box I think – and the bells were die cut from silver shiny paper….I think the bells were a Spellbinder’s die set. I bought them a couple years ago so not sure. The bow and green leaves comes with the set. Once they were glued on, the card was done.

That’s all for a cold and windy Friday, November 1, 2019. Have a wonderful and safe weekend everyone.

Cheers

Violet
