A Unique Look on a Card

Today was another day around 100F – “love the heat, hate the humidity” is a common phrase in Ontario right now. It’s so humid it’s hard to breathe outside. We are under a severe thunderstorm warning right now too.

Today I’m posting card number three made from the same piece of 12x12 cardstock as the cards posted last Wednesday – well, one card was posted but there were two made almost identical so I only posted one. There was no posting on Friday because it was after I turned the computer off that I realized it was Friday, not Thursday. I never seem to know what day it is. There are some days when we are out and about….by ourselves…. And I’m just too tired to even turn the computer on when we get home. So postings may be a bit erratic for a while.

The background is from the 12x12 cardstock. I really liked the pansies on this old greeting card and decided to use them instead of tossing it in the recycling bin. I used a stitched frame to die cut the flowers and when I removed it from the frame, I liked the frame too. So, I placed a piece of velum over the flowers and then glued to frame back on, matching the design. It’s rather a unique look but I decided I liked it so I left it. Then the peel-off gold sentiment and lines were added on an angle – thought I might as well go with the ‘unique’ look.

That’s all for another hot and humid Monday on July 27, 2020.

 Cheers

Violet
