Frog Card

I feel like we moved to the tropics! This is the longest heat wave I can ever remember and it’s not over yet. In fact, the long term forecast has it in the high 90s and even over 100F well into the middle of August. It’s too darn hot to do much outside.

Today’s card was made using up some scraps and it turned out okay.

I found some coordinating green paper and taped them together at the back. Then I ran it through the birthday embossing folder. The circles were die cut from more scraps of green as was the lily pad. The frog was stamped;  coloured' and die cut. The balloons were die cut; coloured; and attached to the frog and then Glossy Accents was used to make them shiny. It was a pretty quick card to make really. The hardest part was allowing the Glossy Accents to dry without smudging it.

That’s all for a hot and humid Monday, on July 20, 2020.

Cheers

Violet
