Alcohol Backgrounds

          We are having a freezing spell! I much prefer a heat wave but up until this week it’s been a very mild winter. Right now the temperature is -7C (15F) but with the cold north wind blowing it feels like -18C (0F). Brrrrr. They had predicted about 10cm (4”) of snow but we didn’t get anywhere near that much. I’m just grateful for that and for the fact that there is no reason for us to leave the house.

         Here is another alcohol inked background made into a card. This one could be for a man or a woman.

                              

           One of the alcohol inked pieces was a bit dark for my liking so instead of using the entire piece, it was cut down. This piece was backed with white cardstock and then glued to a piece of Kraft cardstock. It was then glued to a white card base. The sympathy sentiment was die cut three times. It comes attached to a fancy border but it was too big for this card so I cut away the part I didn’t want. Next week I’ll post the other card made with the other piece of this darker background.
